DR. Dan Jiang£¬ Professor 

She is qualified in Traditional Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine (TCM) from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, where she graduated for an under graduated course in 1978 and continued to lecture on TCM there, graduated from the first post-graduated course in 1982, 2 years course of clinical training in the affiliated hospital; then received her secondary master degree course with her Master medical degree in 1987 in same university. She was a lecturer and clinical supervisor in the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine until 1991.

 

She has been practising TCM in the UK since 1991 in Sheffield and Harley Street in London as TCM consultant. She is appointed as a visiting lecture to teach TCM or Acupuncture courses in France, Portugal, Ireland and many European countries and   was taking upon a selection course to medical students in the University of Sheffield.  She is a fellow and mentor of the ATCM; founder and ex-editor in chief for the Journal of ATCM and has published more than 30 papers after she comes out of China. A book “Principle and practice of Chinese Medicine in the West” was edited and published in 2003.

 

She takes upon the Vice –president of Pan European Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine Consultants; Standing Committee Member of World Federation of TCM organization; She was one of founder of ATCM and has been a council member since 1994 (except the 7th council of ATCM) until 2012.She is appointed a visiting professor of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine; Visiting lecturer for Middlesex University and Clinical TCM consultant in GP-TCM consortium (Supported by EC).

 

 

Dr Fei Wang , M.D. Professor (specially invited)

From 1987-1992 ,he studied in Chinese Medical Dept of Henan University of Chinese Medicine and obtained Bachelor in medicine; and then continued to study as a postgraduate in the Acupuncture & Massage Dept of same university and got Master in medicine. From  1995-1998 he studied in the Acupuncture and Massage Dept of Shanghai University of Chinese Medicine and obtained M.D. degree.  He has published many articles and a book ,‘ Treating Disease with Hands’, published by the Publishing House of Shanghai University of Chinese Medicine, in May ,1999.

Dr Ruoyin Luo , PhD£¬Professor(specially invited)

Currently she is the full member of ATCM (The Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine & Acupuncture) and mainly practising Chinese medicine in UK. Since 1997, she has studied clinical medicine in the Medical College of China South East University and obtained her Bachelor Degree in medicine. From 2000-2003, she continued to study ¡®Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine¡¯ as a postgraduate in Shanghai Military Medical University and got her Master degree in medicine. Dr Ruoyin practiced in the emergency department of Shanghai Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from 2003 to 2005, where she also acted as a tutor for students from Shanghai University of Chinese Medicine. From 2009 to 2011, she worked as post-doc fellow in the School of Pharmacy of Queen¡¯s University Belfast, and was responsible for research design, proposal drafting, data collecting and analysis and result presenting and publishing. At the same time she also studied as a postgraduate for doctorate in Queen¡¯s University Belfast from September 2005 and finally obtained her PhD degree in 2009. During this period, she won the post-graduate studentship of Queen¡¯s University Belfast 2005. Dr Luo has published 10 articles on researches in Chinese medicine and clinical pharmacology. Her clinical special field focuses on treating depression, pain-related problem, arthritis, infertility, skin conditions, insulin resistance diabetes, etc.

 

Dr Kuiyuan Qiao,  professor in Orthopedics and Traumatology and Spinal Injury,

Assistant to President of the Academy

 Dr Kuiyuan Qiao, deputy chief physician in orthopedics, traumatology and spinal injury, is from a family of doctors practicing Chinese Medicine for generations and graduated from Henan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. His specialist training in treatment of spinal disease and hemiplegia, paraplegia rehabilitation was with the Chinese People's Liberation Army General Hospital .He served as the director of orthopedic and director of spinal disease non-surgical treatment centre, Luo Yang No. 1 Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine. He also worked as a doctor for Everwell Clinic in London China Town.

He is a Distinguished Professor of Medicine and Assistant Dean of UK Academy Of Chinese Medicine.

Dr Qiao is trained as a specialist in integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine diagnosis, differential diagnosis of difficult diseases and integrative medicine. He is well known for Chinese herbal medicine prescriptions, acupuncture, massage, bone setting, etc. He is also specialized in the treatment of spinal (Cervical, thoracic, lumbar and Sacroiliac joint) disease, shoulder and knee disease, sacral iliac joint disease and avascular necrosis of the femoral. His specialty also includes spinal related internal medicine, gynaecology, neurology and ENT.

 He is highly praised for the use of traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture, massage, rehabilitation comprehensive treatment of hemiplegia and paraplegia.

 

Dr. Bo Yang  Consultant, Professor (Especially invited)

Dr Bo Yang has comprehensive understanding of Traditional Chinese Medicine Theory, ancient Chinese philosophy and Taoism. Developed Acupuncture Hypnosis, the Theory of  Traumatised Pulse and its use for assessing physical and psychological disorder. 
With 27 years of clinic experience, Dr. Yang specialises in the use of traditional acupuncture techniques in treating infertility, psychological emotional disorder, pain, cerebral palsy, autism etc.
Before moving to the UK in 2003, Dr. Yang worked in the fourth teaching hospital of Shandong University of TCM for 12 years as consultant neurologist.
He has published over 20 academic articles in various professional journals in China.
 

Dr Ying Wang, Professor in Acupuncture ( specially invited) 
 
graduated from Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and is currently a member of The Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture UK.
He specializes in acupuncture, and emphasises on differentiation based on meridians,overall adjustment of the body and matching human factors with seasonal changes.
Dr Wang also specialize in using YiJing theory based on seasons, and changes in Yin Yang to selectively choose specific points in a flexible way to treat difficult conditions such as stroke, depression, skin conditions; as well as various types of pain using meridian balance therapy and moxibustion, often with instant result.
He has published many academic articles, such as "moving moxibustion and it's clinical application", as well as conducting clinical trials on the application of acupuncture on animals, including arthritis in dogs, which produced very good  results.

Kun Zhou, Professor in Acupuncture and Massage

 From 1991, he worked for 14 years as a Manager & Senior TCM Doctor in TCM Department of The Third Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University, and in 2005 , he came to UK as a TCM Dr until now.

 

¡îHe has accumulated rich experience with clinical practice in Chinese hospital, attended several academic seminars,also composed and published many articles and theses on professional journals and magazines.

 

¡îSince 1999, he has been taking full charge of clinical diagnosis and treatment work mainly by Tuina therapy, and combined Acupuncture& Moxibustion,Cupping Therapy and Chinese Herbal Medicine,also instructing junior physicians to grasp TCM therapies and fulfill diagnosis and treatment works. Dr.Yanbing Li£¬ Professor in Chinese Medicine

Dr.Yanbing Li, an associate professor in Chinese Medicine, is the families third generation of Doctors. She studied Chinese medicine in Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) from 1992 to 1997 obtaining her Bachelor’s Degree in Chinese Medicine. Dr. Li then worked at the Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture department of Beijing Jishuitan Hospital, one of the biggest general hospitals in China. From 2000 to 2004, she also studied as
a postgraduate student specializing in encephalopathy under her tutor Professor Gao Ying, a famous scholar and expert in Chinese internal medicine, gaining her Master’s degree of Medical Science from Beijing University of TCM in 2004. Since arriving in the UK, she has worked in various London clinics. She is a member of The Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine (UK) (China) and The Association of Combination Treatment of TCM and Modern Medicine (China)

Dr Dongmei Wang , consultant & associate professor in Chinese medicine and acupuncture

She studied Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM ) in Xinjiang Medical University from 2004 to 2009 and graduated with a Bachelor Degree in 2009. In the same year, she passed the postgraduate entrance examination of Shandong University of TCM and then continued further 3 year of clinical practice and research under her tutor Prof Zhe Wang a well-known expert in Chinese medicine . Finally she completed her postgraduate course and obtained her Master Degree in TCM gynecology.After graduation, Dr Wang worked at the TCM Maternal and Child Health Hospital of Linzi District, Shandong Province,China , from 2012 to 2015. She had successfully treated many patients suffering from chronic gastrointestinal diseases as well as difficult cases of gynecological conditions with Chinese medicine and acupuncture, therefore she was highly praised by her patients. Dr Xiang-ling Shi, Associated Professor in Chinese Medicine

 

From 1984- 1989, she studied TCM (traditional Chinese medicine) at Henan University of TCM and finally obtained Bachelor Degree; and also completed the postgraduates course in the same university between Sep,2004-July,2006.From 1989- 2007, she worked as a physician at TCM Hospital of Jiaozuo City and then became chief doctor of internal medicine department. During this period, she successfully treated many patients with acute and chronic diseases , cardiovascular diseases in particular .  She was a member of research group in ‘Treating Sequelae after Stroke with Herbal Medicines’ and won the award from Henan Government in May,2000. She was co- author of the book 'Practical Clinical Internal Medicine' published by 'Military Medical Publishing House in Apr.2001; and her more than 10 pieces of theses have been published by Chinese medical journals. Naeem Katib, Lecturer in Acupuncture and Kung Fu(specially invited )

Naeem Katib is an ATCM Certified Practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).

During his medical training he treated patients in several hospitals and clinics both in the UK and in China.  Naeem graduated in 2008 with a joint 2.1 BSc honours from Middlesex University London and Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
 
After Graduating he worked for a Large Chinese Medicine organisation known as Dr & Herbs, in several of their clinics, providing patients with acupuncture, cupping and Chinese Tui’na therapy.

Then in 2009 he established the Company the Traditional Way focusing on Chinese Healthcare.
